Portfiber is the online presence of Portland Fiber Gallery & Weaving Studio (aka Portland Fiber Gallery).
Portland Fiber Gallery is a brick and mortar space providing supplies and education in the fiber arts of weaving, spinning, felt-making and dyeing.
We also have a small gallery of finished goods made by us, our outside teachers and our interns.
Porfiber sells hand-dyed rovings and yarns, hand carded batts in a mix of fibers.
Portland Fiber Gallery is owned by me, Melodi Hackett. I’ve lived in Portland since 1978 with my husband Rick and our two daughters Rachel and Rebecca. I’ve owned Portland Fiber Gallery for 8 years.It’s a great job. I’ve been blessed with wonderful employees and great customers.
